My author night has officially been set up for May 25th at 6 p.m. in the Phelps Dodge room of the public library. I am both very excited (because more people will be aware of Akasha) and very nervous (I'm supposed to give a 20 minute presentation). I have a little over a month to get it together though so that's good. Of course I also have a month to make myself so nervous about it I throw up a few times.
The good thing is there will be another author there with me. I've heard she also doesn't like to speak so she was more than happy to share the night with me.
So if you live in the Safford area (and I'm aware not many people do), come and see me. And if you don't then you can contribute by telling me what I'm supposed to talk about for 20 minutes. Any ideas of what people might want to know about?

I think you should talk about where the story came from, what inspired you to write it. Maybe take the picture of Nichole with you. You could also talk about the journey that got you to this point and you could bring a copy of your first printed edition.
Ditto what Stacy said
Hi Heather! I volunteer at the library and everyone there is really excited about your visit. Someone else has checked out the copy of your book already so I've got the Kindle version and will try to read it before the 25th. If you're looking for things to talk about, there was a lot of interest in the fact that you self-published so maybe you could give us some info on that.
Can't wait! :D
